The Cruel Masked Ways of Love
By Tessa H.

I am an unnoticed, unloved wandering soul, desperately searching for a purpose in this pathetic excuse we call life. And so, let me slit my shaking wrists, stab my broken heart, pour out the lifeless blood that runs through my cold veins, and let me slumber for an eternity. Let the everlasting sorrows of darkness consume my lifeless soul; let me slumber in my timeless nightmare. Let the essence of the deceiving brilliant light be engulfed with reliving internal darkness, sweet seducing darkness that releases me; once trapped within the cruel torturous prison of my deceived fragile mind; isolating it from the unnoticed lies of reality..
And he, who ever so graciously, has never been heart broken has no heart to bare, for he is unloved and shall remain in sweet solitude. He is, without doubt, a fortunate man; to never bare the burdens of love’s cunning ways and its masked cruelty to the fragile heart. And he shall live his life prosperous; content with his untouched kindled spirit and shall forever be known as savior of his own soul…

Foolishness of a Tricked Mind
By Tessa H.

Life. A depressing sorrowful abyss, cowardly disguises itself within us; to make us weak, fragile, and ill hearted. To break our twig-like bones with its mighty wrath. To out wit ourselves with its cunning intelligences. And to crush our love filled thin glass hearts with its cruel masked lust; shattering the fair kindled spirit it once possessed.
And now, with its weary state, falls forever. Falling lifelessly into the wicked black sea of the Underworld, never again to see the warmth of the brilliant light we trick our minds into believing is Heaven; the myth we put into our ill minds as being a majestic kingdom of porcelain skinned and glossy white feathered creatures, hovering against the thick cream colored clouds they call shelter. With lost hope, it can never dream of such a cunning imaginative place; to frolic carelessly with the bright bursts of the stars, swimming restlessly in the calm midnight ocean of the sky.
No, it has forcefully taken the disturbed name of prisoner within the depths of the dark gruesome world of Hell; forever bound by rusted coal black chains to remain captive there, in such a sick torturous environment. No coward less winged creature, recklessly riding the glistening gold chariot, will ever step forth in such a damned abomination to play the foolish role of savior for these misfortunate souls; only to look upon the cramped crowd with sympathetic eyes and cast away onward toward the feathery kindled warmth land above the horizons.
